Children in debt will no longer be fed thanks to smart new cost-cutting measures at School in Wales.
Until recently a secondary school in Wales allowed lower-income pupils to receive meals without paying. Thankfully, new measures proposed by headmaster Neil Foden will now mean children with outstanding balances on their meal cards of 1 penny or more will be denied food. While some may starve, paying pupils will still receive some form of burnt carbohydrate.
This is the kind of action that could lead to a nomination for this year’s Fiscal Responsibility Jobby Award.
