For the first time, Charlie speaks out and reveals the devastating impact the house party ban has had on his business.
“When the COVID lockdown first came around I like everyone else understood things would take a hit. I did my bit and even went on furlough. Stayed in my flat for about 3 weeks. Things started to come back a bit at the beginning of September with the start of the new uni year. Then this new house party ban came in. It feels like the Government has purposely and unfairly targetted me.”
Asked to give specifics about the impact it was having on his business he continued: “Sales are down at least 73%. Nobodies wanting to sit in their house and take ketamine by themself. Its a PARTY drug hence requires a party for anybody to be interested. The new restrictions don’t take any of this into consideration. The whole thing is a joke and I personally feel it needs to go through a rethink”.
